My name is Pamela Milligan and I am the owner  of NotTheVictim.com.

I am a  wife, mother, and grandmother of 8 granddaughters. It was those 8 granddaughters that brought me to the decision that I needed to do something to help people prepare themselves for the dangers in our society.

After a lot of thought and late nights worrying about all of the things we see these days on the news, about women and men being assaulted or robbed or even much worse. It doesn’t seem to matter the age or whether it is a man or a woman, whether you live in a big city or small town your chance of becoming a victim of a criminal is a very real possibility.

The common phrase you hear from these victims is “If I had only known or had something…”, and it’s the truth! If you had known something was going to happen you wouldn’t have went there, no doubt about it. The problem with that is that we never know where or when something will happen so I couldn’t figure a way to help with that part of the comment, but the last part of the comment “had something…” NOW that is something I can do about!
